After this years trip to China I
was inspired by the hospitality and kindness of the Chinese but most of all by
the beauty and grace of Chinese women. Women are revered, respected, cherished
and protected in an entirely different way than we find in the West, which I
found refreshing. Contrary to popular belief, the Chinese are incredibly warm
people with a level of generosity that rivals our well known “Southern
Hospitality”. The policy of one child per family engenders a feeling of value
for each child that is astonishing, whether they are girls or boys.
